  • Last day at Dell Farm

    Wed 10 Jul 2019

After a morning of packing, archery and caving, tired but happy children made their way home. They all recieved gifts of teddy bears and keyrings as a memento of their stay, along with praise for their behaviour and 'have a go' attitudes. We hope they had a fab time, we certainly did, and thanked the staff at Dell Farm and Mrs Mitchelmore from Totternhoe for arranging a fun, fab stay for us!
ALL of the photos of our stay are on the Oak class page, be warned, there are a lot!

  • Dell Farm!!

    Tue 09 Jul 2019

This morning dawned VERY early for some of the children today. After breakfast, the children groomed and fed the animals on the farm. We were then very busy building shelters and lighting fires, which we had to keep going for half an hour, harder than you think. In the afternoon, the children became foxes and the teachers became the farmers. Whilst the children were running around the farm collecting clues on a treasure hunt about foxes, the farmers were chasing the foxes away with water pistols, lots of fun for everyone! A movie and games night finished off our second day, along with a bit of wellyball.

    Mon 08 Jul 2019

The first day of Dell Farm has finally arrived! The Year 4 children of Kensworth and Totternhoe have had a great day and are now very tired out. We have hiked the Downs, played in the woodland park, climbed trees, flown kites, thrown frisbees, caught sticky balls, had lunch, made beds, changed shoes...a lot, eaten dinner, been Roman Soldiers, been Iceni soldiers, fought a battle, had a campfire, drunk hot chocolate, eaten biscuits, brushed our teeth and finally gone to bed.
Head over to the Oak class page to see the photos from today.

Kensworth's first music recital was held this afternoon. Attended by many families, the children were able to demonstrate their  new musical skills, with thanks to the PTA for providing new recorders and glockenspiels to add to the whole school Charanga music package. I think you will agree they were 'AMAZING!'
    Well done everyone!
