KS2 SATs (Standardised Assessment Tests)

Key Stage 2 SATs take place in May each year when children are in Year 6 of primary school (aged between 10-11 years old). Key Stage 2 SATs test children's skills in maths, reading and SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar).  There are also teacher assessments in writing and science.

The DfE have published an information leaflet for the parents of children with a child in year 6 at primary school. It provides an overview of the purpose of the mandatory tests, when they are scheduled, and when results will be shared by schools.  A link to the document can be found below:

SATs weekly booster group will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:15am - 8:45am. 

All year 6 children should be attending as the SAT's are very quickly approaching.
