Welcome to Hornbeam - our mixed Year 5 and 6 class

We hope you enjoyed the summer break and are ready for the autumn term.  Above you will find pages that provide specific information about our class and curriculum.

Our PE sessions are Monday and Wednesday afternoons. The children should come into school dressed in their PE kit on both those days.  Earrings must not be worn for PE, so should be left at home on PE days.  Similarly, if your child has long hair, please ensure it is put up or tied back.

Pencil cases are allowed, but because we have limited space in the classroom, it must fit into the children's drawers.  A locker is provided for each child to store a coat and bag.

Mobile phones are permitted but must be placed into a box each morning on arrival.  This box is stored in the school office and phones will be returned to the children at the end of the day for dismissal time. 

Please ensure that all of your child's possessions are named to avoid being lost.
