Sport Premium Funding
At Kensworth, Physical Education (PE), Physical Activity and School Sport play an integral part in the school’s curriculum giving children the opportunity to develop sporting skills and enjoy participating in a range of sports, not just the traditional football & rugby. These include cricket, archery, golf, tennis, netball, quicksticks (hockey), athletics, swimming, gymnastics and orienteering.
We are also committed to providing 30 minutes of physical activity a day.
We are part of the Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership and we regularly take part in festivals and competitions with neighbouring schools.
Schools are allocated Sport Premium Funding on the basis of an amount for each school and an amount per primary aged pupil.
