There is a weekly expectation that children:

�� Reading

• Children are expected to read at least three times a week at home – either with an adult or independently.

• Please record home reading in the reading record so that we can celebrate progress together.

✏️ Homework & Spellings

• A piece of Maths and English homework will be sent home each Friday afternoon and should be returned by the following Wednesday.

• Homework will be based on the children’s learning from that week.

• Weekly spellings will be taught and practised in the classroom.

�� Times Tables

• Children should practise times tables every evening for 10–15 minutes by logging onto their TT Rockstars personal account.

• Logins can be found in the front cover of reading records.

• Printable resources are available on the Times Tables page of the main Class page. These will support children with fluency and recall of multiplication and division.

• Year 4 children will carry out their Multiplication Tables Check in the Summer term, so regular practice is especially important.

• If you would like printed worksheets, please let me know and I can provide them.
