Spring Term 2024 Theme 'Groundbreaking Greeks'
This project teaches children about developments and changes over six periods of ancient Greek history, focusing on the city state of Athens in the Classical age, and exploring the lasting legacy of ancient Greece.

School Value this half term: Forgiveness - 'Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive others.' Colossians 3.13. If your child shows the value at home let us know so this can be celebrated in school.

Work for Home
Weekly spellings will be sent home on a Monday.
Children will bring home a termly homework grid, with a range of activities covering a variety of topics from the curriculum. They will be expected to complete three acitivites. The children can then bring their work in, share a photograph on class dojo or talk about it with the class. There is a weekly expectation that children read and have been listened to, practised their timetables and spellings. Timetables practice can be uising TTRS or quick recall, chanting of timestables approapriate for your child.
P.E. Days will be on Monday and Thursday. Remember to come to school in your PE kits on these days. This term we will be doing: Fundamental Sport Skills- Basket Ball, Social Dodgeball. Gym-working Holes and barriers, balance and counter tension. Please see the attached Uniform Policy to ensure you are ready for PE.
